Google dominates search in India, but Bing powers some search experiences and AI assistants. Setting up Bing Webmaster Tools takes minutes.

    Why set it up

    • See search performance on Bing.
    • Find crawl and SEO issues Bing detects.
    • Bing data can feed some AI and search tools.

    Set-up

    1. Sign in to Bing Webmaster Tools.
    2. Import your site from Google Search Console, or verify directly.
    3. Submit your sitemap; create one with our sitemap generator.

    IndexNow

IndexNow is a protocol that lets websites notify participating search engines, including Bing, when pages are added or updated. Some CMS plugins and CDNs support it automatically.

    Google

Google does not use IndexNow; continue using sitemaps and Search Console for Google.

    Robots.txt

Make sure Bing’s crawler is allowed; check your file with our robots.txt generator.

Read Bing Places for local businesses.
