    This policy explains what personal data AMJAM Solutions collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It applies to this website and its forms (enquiries, free audits, workshops, the daily Q&A, call bookings, job applications and the newsletter), our WhatsApp number and the work we do for clients.

    In short: we collect only what we need to reply to you and to deliver our services, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time by writing to info@amjamsolutions.com.

    Information collected automatically

    When you visit the website, our hosting provider records basic technical details. These include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working. When you fill in a form, we also record which page you first arrived on, the website or ad that sent you and the page the form was on, so we know which of our pages and ads bring enquiries. If we use analytics or advertising tools, the section on cookies below explains what they collect.

    Free audit reports

    To prepare a website or SEO audit, our system visits the public website address you give us, the same way a browser does, and may send that address to Google’s PageSpeed service to measure speed. For a Google Business Profile audit, it may look up your public business listing using Google’s Places service. We only read public pages and listings; we never ask for your passwords. Your report is sent to you by email and has a private link. We record when that link is opened, so we know whether you have seen the report before we follow up.

    How we use your information

    • To reply to your enquiry and arrange the free strategy call you asked for.
    • To prepare proposals and quotes, and to deliver the services you hire us for.
    • To prepare and email your free audit report, and to send up to two short follow-up emails about it. Reply STOP to any follow-up and we will not send more.
    • To send you the joining link and reminders, by email or WhatsApp, for a workshop, Q&A session or call you registered for.
    • To consider your job application.
    • To send the newsletter, if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any issue or emailing us.
    • To send invoices, keep accounting records and meet our legal and tax obligations.
    • To keep the website secure and to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.

    We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you.

    Consent and your choices

    We use your personal data based on the consent you give when you fill in a form, message us or sign a contract with us. We also use it where the law allows, such as keeping tax records. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened, and we may need to keep some records where the law requires it.

    Who we share it with

    We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

    Type of providerWhy

    Cookies and analytics

    The website does not set its own cookies. It uses your browser’s session storage only for small conveniences during your visit, such as remembering that you closed a banner, and to remember which page you first arrived on, so that it can be sent with a form you fill in. Session storage is cleared when you close the browser tab. We use these analytics and advertising tools, loaded through Google Tag Manager:

    • Google Analytics 4 (Google): counts visits and shows which pages, searches and ads bring enquiries and sales. It sets cookies and records details such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser, and when you send a form or complete a payment. It does not receive your name, phone number or email address. Read how Google uses this information.
    • Meta Pixel (Meta): tells us how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform, for example when someone sends an enquiry or buys after seeing an ad, so we can show ads to people likely to be interested. It sets cookies and can link your visit to your Facebook or Instagram account. You can change this in your Meta ad preferences.

    You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings at any time, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website works normally without them.

    How long we keep it

    • Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, so we have context if you contact us again.
    • Free audit requests and reports: up to 24 months, so we can compare a new audit with your earlier one.
    • Workshop, Q&A and call registrations: up to 24 months.
    • Job applications: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner.
    • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
    • Client and billing records: for as long as the law requires, usually 8 years for accounting records.
    • Access to your accounts: removed when the project ends. We ask you to revoke our access as well.

    How we protect it

    We use reasonable security measures. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for people who need it, two-step login on our business accounts and secure password storage. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.

    Your rights

    Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

    • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
    • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
    • ask us to delete it when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it;
    • withdraw your consent at any time;
    • nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to; and
    • raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
