Amazon lets sellers add hidden “search terms” to listings. Shoppers do not see them, but they help Amazon understand which searches your product matches.
What to include
- Synonyms: “kurta, kurti, tunic”.
- Hindi and regional terms in English letters: “chaddar” for bedsheet.
- Common misspellings.
- Uses and occasions: “gift for mother, diwali gift”.
- Related terms not in your title or bullets.
Generate terms with our backend search terms generator and combine ideas with our keyword combiner.
Rules
- Stay within Amazon’s byte limit for search terms (around 250 bytes is commonly cited; check your category).
- Separate words with spaces; no commas needed.
- Do not repeat words already in the title.
- No competitor brand names.
- No subjective claims like “best” or “cheap”.
- No offensive terms.
