Most happy customers will leave a review if you ask at the right moment and make it easy. The video shows where to find your review link and how to share it. Below are the steps and some wording you can copy.
Get your review link
- Open your Business Profile while signed in.
- Choose Ask for reviews (sometimes under Read reviews or Customers).
- Copy the short link Google gives you. It opens the review box directly.
You can also build the link and a QR code with our Google review link generator.
When to ask
- Right after a good moment: a delivery that arrived on time, a treatment that went well, a project handover.
- In person first, then send the link the same day so it is fresh.
- Never weeks later, when the feeling has faded.
Wording you can use
"Thank you for choosing us today. If you were happy with the service, would you share a quick review on Google? It helps other families find us. Here is the link: [link]"
Keep it personal and short. Our review request message generator gives more versions for WhatsApp, SMS and email.
What not to do
- Do not offer discounts or gifts in exchange for reviews. It breaks Google's policy and can get reviews removed.
- Do not ask only the happy customers through a filter, a practice called review gating.
- Do not write reviews for yourself or ask staff to.
- Do not ask everyone at once from the same Wi-Fi; spread requests naturally.
Make it a habit
Add the review link to your invoice, your WhatsApp quick replies and a QR stand at the counter. A steady trickle of fresh reviews is worth more than a burst once a year.
