If you have more than one branch, each should have its own Google Business Profile. That way each branch can appear in searches near it, collect its own reviews and show its own hours.
One profile per real location
Each branch needs a permanent address, staff during business hours and signage. Do not create profiles for addresses where you do not actually serve customers; that breaks Google’s guidelines.
Keep names consistent
Use the same brand name for every branch. Google’s guidelines generally discourage adding locations or keywords to the name, so let the address and branch pages tell people which branch is which.
Set up a business group
Google lets you group profiles so you can manage them from one account, add team members to specific branches and see performance together. For ten or more locations, bulk verification may be available.
Give each branch its own website page
Link each profile to a dedicated branch page, not your home page. Each page should include the branch address, map, hours, phone number, services and reviews. Add location schema with our schema generator.
Collect reviews for each branch
Create a separate review link for each branch, so reviews go to the right profile. Staff at each branch should use their own link.
Keep details accurate everywhere
- Hours, including holidays, for each branch.
- Correct phone numbers.
- Consistent listings on directories for each address.
Track each branch
Compare calls, direction requests and reviews by branch each month. Branches that lag often need more reviews or better photos.
