Safe zones for vertical ads
In Stories and Reels, the top and bottom of the screen are covered by profile info, captions and buttons. Keep key text and logos away from roughly the top and bottom 14–20% of the frame.
Text lengths
- Primary text: the first 125 characters or so show before “See more”.
- Headline: short, around 27–40 characters, to avoid truncation.
- Description: often hidden; do not rely on it.
Check length with our character counter.
Video tips
- Add captions; many people watch muted.
- Keep most ads between 15 and 30 seconds.
- Show the brand or product early.
