When your profile is suspended, stuck in verification or showing wrong details, you need to talk to Google. The videos show the genuine route to the support team. Google does not run a paid phone helpline for Business Profile, so ignore numbers you see on random websites.
The official routes
- Help Center: go to support.google.com/business. Search your problem; many issues have a step-by-step fix.
- Contact form: from the Help Center, choose Contact us. Pick the issue type and you will be offered email, chat or a callback depending on the problem and your location.
- Appeals: for suspended profiles, use the official appeals tool linked from the Help Center. Upload proof such as a utility bill, GST certificate, shop licence and photos of your signboard.
- Community forum: the Business Profile Help Community has volunteer experts who often solve problems fast.
Prepare before you contact them
- Your business name, address and the email that owns the profile.
- The profile's Maps link (make one with our Google Maps link generator).
- Screenshots of the problem.
- Proof documents if the issue is about ownership or address.
Watch out for scams
Anyone who calls you claiming to be from Google and asks for money to "verify" or "rank" your listing is not Google. Google does not charge for Business Profile.
Prevent problems
Most suspensions come from keyword-stuffed names, wrong addresses or duplicate listings. Keep your details accurate and check your profile with the score checker.
