A rejected ad wastes time and delays your campaign. Most rejections come from a handful of common problems, and most are easy to fix.
Text problems
- Personal attributes: “Are you overweight?”, “Struggling with debt?”. Talk about your service, not the viewer’s condition.
- Guaranteed results: “100% guaranteed”, “results in 7 days”.
- Health claims: “cure”, “miracle”, “lose 10 kg”.
- Income claims: “earn ₹50,000 from home”.
- Engagement bait: “Like and share to win”.
- Misleading or sensational language.
Image and video problems
- Before-and-after images, especially for health, beauty and fitness.
- Too much skin or suggestive images.
- Fake buttons or play icons that trick people into clicking.
Other problems
- Landing page issues: broken pages, pages that do not match the ad, or missing contact and privacy information.
- Restricted categories without the required approvals, such as financial services, alcohol or certain health products.
- Using Meta’s brand wrongly, for example suggesting Facebook endorses you.
How to fix a rejection
- Open the rejected ad in Ads Manager and read the stated reason.
- Edit the text, image or landing page to remove the problem.
- If you believe the decision is wrong, request a review from the Account Quality section.
